Tesla and Elon Musk’s announced Full Self-Driving (FSD) version 14 starts rolling out next week – sept 29-Ocit 2), followed by 14.1 in mid-October (a debugging/polishing update after internal employee testing revealed fixes needed for its “big changes”), and 14.2 in 4-10 weeks (late November to early December). FSD 14.2 is described as the sublime iteration that significantly reduces nags and could be capable of unsupervised driving. Full autonomy gets close with 14.2 but it involves data gathering, legal and regulatory decisions.
There will be delays in the full market reaction.
