Kapfupi Begs Wicknell Chivayo for Another Car After Losing Gifted Vehicle in an Accident

Zimbabwean comedian Freddy Manjalima, popularly known as Kapfupi has come out to beg for a car from flamboyant businessman Wicknell Chivayo.

Kapfupi, who previously received a Toyota Aqua from Chivayo in 2024, is now pleading for another vehicle.

His appeal comes after the vehicle he was gifted was written off in a car accident in December 2024.

However, he also revealed that misfortune struck on 23 December last year when he was involved in an accident that left his car completely beyond repair.

Kapfupi Pleads for a Car

Kapfupi made an emotional plea to businessman Wicknell Chivayo to gift him another car,  saying he no longer has reliable means of transport.

In a heartfelt message, Kapfupi used a Shona proverb—“mwana asingacheme anofira mumbereko” (a child who doesn’t cry dies in the cradle)—to express his desperation as he begged for a car.  He argued that he can’t go back to boarding public transport (kombis) when Wicknell is there.

“BABA zvinonzi mwana asingacheme anofira mumbereko ini ndachemawo kwamuri zvakare Baba kuti handisisina chekufambisa Baba mwana wenyu ndinga kwirawo makombi futi muripo here Baba ndinowimba message yangu inosvika kwamuri Baba wicknell chivhayo ndatenda.🙏🙏”
