Toyota Venza designed to look like $13M Rolls-Royce Sweptail spotted cruising majestically on the Nigerian road.
The made-in-nigeria Sweptail-wannabe was built by Mr Nonso Offor, who first showed off his car back in 2022.
Notable differences between the two includes two doors on the Sweptail, while the Venza-based ride has four doors.
The original one-off Rolls-Royce Sweptail was based on the Rolls-Royce Phantom Coupe and hand-built for over 4 years.
At the time of its debut in 2017, the Sweptail was the world’s most expensive new car, costing around US$12.8 million.
A made-in-nigeria Rolls-Royce Sweptail-wannabe crafted out from a Toyota Venza Crossover SUV recently turned heads after being spotted cruising majestically on the Nigerian road.
The stunning 2010 Toyota Venza-based ride is the brain child of Mr Nonso Offor, who first showed off his own version of the one-off Rolls-Royce Sweptail back in 2022.
While the original one-off Sweptail was based on the Rolls-Royce Phantom Coupe and hand-built for over 4 years, Nonso’s car was crafted out his impressive ride out a Toyota Venza.
Other notable differences between the two cars is that the one-off Sweptail features a large glass roof and has two doors, while the Venza-based ride has four doors, including a rear Suicide Doors.
Autojosh can’t say the engine that powers this locally-made car, but 2010 Toyota Venza it is based on comes with a 2.7-liter four-cylinder engine that makes 182 horsepower.
Rolls-Royce Sweptail
At the time of its May 2017 debut at the yearly Concorso d’Eleganza Villa d’Este event, the Rolls-Royce Sweptail was the most expensive new automobile in the world, costing around US$12.8 million.
The large custom-built Rolls-Royce was commissioned in 2013 as a one-off automobile at the request of an unnamed super-yacht and aircraft specialist.
